Laura R. Colwell joined the firm of Cota CPA, PC in October 2008 as a Staff Accountant. Prior to moving to Vermont, Laura served in a variety of corporate roles such as the Director of Operations for a large non-profit organization, as Controller for a small prototype manufacturer and as Corporate Account Representative in the banking industry.Laura grew up primarily in West Michigan where she also graduated from Calvin College with a B.A. degree. She completed her Master of Science degree in Accounting at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois in 1997 and is currently working to meet the requirements necessary to apply for her CPA license.
Laura currently resides in Hinesburg, Vermont with her husband and their two girls. She is active at her daughters' school and at St. Andrews Christian Church in downtown Burlington.
